​Today, in class, we:

Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Copied our home work into our agendas (see below).
Stamped the home work entry in the agenda.
Picked up HW 3.3 and any late home works using the Home Work Robot.
Watched and discussed CNN10 News.

Updated our Table of Contents in the interactive notebook (see below).
Added the term, "pan-regional" to the vocabulary primer on page 69.
Created two research notes pages on pages 80 and 81 of the interactive notebook.

Discussed the pan-regional aspects of the Umayyad Caliphate and the Ottoman Empire.
Created HW # 3.4 - Two Pan-Regional Empires (see below).

Read the Active Classroom module, "History Unfolding: The Golden Age of Islam" to help in creating notes on p. 80(see link below).
