Tuesday, Oct. 9 and Oct. 10, 2018 - a/b block

10/9/2018

Picture
Students in my A1 class sort through attributes of Limited and Unlimited Governments to induce a pattern and craw conclusion about which is which.
Picture
Students from my B2 class are creating Notes 2.8 by induction, based entirely on the construct they made together and guiding questions to be answered.
Today, in class, we:

Answered an entry ticket about types of population pyramids at the door.
Answered a question from the DO NOW board using the Kagan Spinner.
Copied our home work from the home work board (see below).
Collected HW 2 and any late Home Works .
Created vocabulary investigation for the term Limited vs Unlimited Government and glued it to page 63 (see below).
As cooperative table teams, we organized attributes of limited and unlimited governments. Then our facilitators led ups through a series of guiding questions. Using the team-created attribute chart and our discussion we answered each question for limited government on page 64 and unlimited government on paper 65, This becomes Inductive Notes 2.8 - Limited vs Unlimited Government (see example below and picture above).
Worked on learning stations round 3 (see unit archive).
Handed our and discussed HW 3 - Ask Your Parents (see below).

Home Work: 1) Complete the vocabulary investigation for the term Limited vs Unlimited Government and glued it to page 63 (see below),
2) Complete HW 3 - Ask Your Parents(see below).
3) Complete the station that you worked on today in class (see unit archive).
