Today, in class, we:
Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Wrote our homework down in our agendas for the DO NOW.
Presented HW 4 to the Home Work Robot.
Reseated the class into cooperative table teams.
Selected table team roles (everyone has a job, no slacking).
Discussed team communication policy.
Participated in an IB scavenger hunt in my room to complete the Unit 1 Journey Home IB Page on page 9 (see template below).
Homework:
1) Complete any missing vocabulary primer entry on pages 11 and 12.
2) If you have not collected your supplies for my class here is the list (printable version below).
Here is the complete supply list for class:
2 Composition Notebooks (Not spirals, they are dangerous)
1 Paper notebook of any color with brads
At least 200 pages of notebook paper
Black ink pens (Used by other classes as well)
Box of colored pencils (Used by other classes as well)
Glue stick or bottle of glue (Used by other classes as well)
Pencils (Used by other classes as well)
