Today, in class, we:
Greeted students at the door, using the threshold technique.
Wrote our homework down in our agendas for the DO NOW.
Answered a warmup question using the Response Card Technique.
Presented HW 1.1 to the Home Work Robot (If it spit it out students had to fix what was wrong).
Updated our Table of Contents (see below).
Created our vocabulary primer on page 10 and added the term, TODALS to the primer.
Took and discussed Notes 1.1 - TODALSIG on page 20 in Cornell fashion (see below).
Table Teams worked in small groups to create a TODALS map of the classroom on page 21.
Handeed out and discussed, HW 1.2 - My TODALS Room (see below).
Homework:
1) Complete the vocabulary primer entry for TODALS on p. 10.
2) Complete HW 1.2 - My TODALS Room by drawing your bedroom (or another room) at home (see below).
