Homework Robot, Vocabulary Primer, Cornell Notes 1.1 and HW 2 - Click on "Read More"
Today, in class, we:
Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Wrote our homework down in our agendas for the DO NOW.
Faced torment by the spinner and no opt out.
Presented HW 1 to the Home Work Robot (If it spit it out students had to fix what was wrong).
Updated our Table of Contents (see below).
Created our vocabulary primer on page 10 and added the term, TODALS to the primer.
Took and discussed Notes 1.1 - TODALSIG on pages 14 and 15 in Cornell fashion (see below).
Created, on a piece of notebook paper, HW 2 - My TODALS Room (see print version below).
Homework:
1) Complete the vocabulary primer entry for TODALS on p. 10. You will need to know the parts of TODALS at the gong tomorrow.
2) Complete HW 2 - My TODALS Room by drawing your bedroom (or another room) at home (see below).
3) If you have not collected your supplies for my class here is the list (printable version below).

2 Composition Notebooks (Not spirals, they are dangerous)
1 Paper notebook of any color with brads
At least 200 pages of notebook paper
Black ink pens (Used by other classes as well)
Box of colored pencils (Used by other classes as well)
Glue stick or bottle of glue (Used by other classes as well)
Pencils (Used by other classes as well)
