Greeted students at the door using the threshold technique.
Wrote our learning objective and homework down in our agendas for the DO NOW.
Checked for understanding from our previous class a warm up on a response card.
Updated our Table of Contents (see below).
Updated our vocabulary primer on pages 58 and 59 and added the terms, Agricultural Revolution and transportation corridor.
Took, in Cornell fashion, and discussed Notes 3.2 - A History of Sub-Saharan Africa( Part 1) (see below).
Worked individually on the Sub-Saharan Africa Mapping Project (see below).
Homework:
1) Complete the vocabulary primer entry for the terms, Agricultural Revolution and transportation corridor.
2) Continue work on the Sub-Saharan Africa Mapping Project (see below). This is due on Monday, Nov. 27th for "A" classes and Tuesday, Nov 28th for "B" classes.
