Research Into The Abrahamic Religions: Islam and HW 4.7 - Abrahamic Religion Triple Venn on "Read More
Today, in class, we:
Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Wrote our home work down in our agendas for the DO NOW.
Used the home work robot to collect late home works.
Created HW 4.7 - Abrahamic Religion Triple Venn (see below).
Updated our Table of Contents (see below).
Created a new Vocabulary Primer page on p. 12 for the term mosque.
Create a space for the Islam Research Guide on page 26.
Took a in-school field trip to observe another classroom.
Watched the Haj scene from the movie Malcolm X (see below).
Passed out the single page Islam Research Guide (see below).
Worked Individually using the Islam Research Packet (available in the "Research Well" in the "More" drop-down menu above) to complete the Islam Research Guide.
Used the glue army to glue the folded Islam Research Guide to page 26.
Materials managers from each table gathered and returned the class set of green research packets and emptied the pencil sharpener cans.
Homework
1) Complete the vocabulary primer entry for the term mosque on page 12.
2) Complete your Islam Research Guide that you glued to p. 26 (see the "Research Well" in the "More" drop-down menu above).
3) Complete HW 4.6 - Map Self-Reflection (see below).
