Today, in class, we:
Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Wrote our home work down in our agendas for the DO NOW.
Collected any late paper home works using the HW Robot technique.
Watched and discussed CNN 10.
Updated our Table of Contents (see below).
Created a new Vocabulary Primer on page 68 for the term, Shintoism.
Formatted Lotus Notes 4.11 - Japan (see template below).
Watched the short Youtube video, "School Lunch in Japan - It's Not Just About Eating." (see link)

Participated in 8 lightning stations to complete Lotus Notes 4.11 (see alternative notes below if absent).
Students worked independently on the Active Classroom module, "Atlas of World History (Level I): From Imperial to Feudal Japan" (see link below).

While students worked, each student was interviewed to collect the E. Asia Map Project (2nd ask).
Homework:
1) Complete the vocabulary primer entry for the term, Shintoism on page 68.
2) Continue work on the Active Classroom module, "Atlas of World History (Level I): From Imperial to Feudal Japan" (see link above).
3) Continue working on the Unit 4 Summative Research Project (see previous post). Due Wed. 5/3 for all "A" classes and Thurs. 5/4 for all "B" classes.
