Today, in class, we:
Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Wrote our home work down in our agendas for the DO NOW.
Updated our Table of Contents (see below).
Updated our Vocabulary Primer to include a new term. "non-violence" on page 37.
Worked in cooperative Table Teams on the Unit 4 Learning Stations (see learning stations in the Unit Archives drop-down tab for Unit 4 above).
Watched a short video on a key event in Gandhi's life.
Created our paper homework on a piece of notebook paper (see below two versions printable and handmade).
Homework:
1) See the Gandhi Biography to craft a definition and a visual for the term. "non-violence" on page 37.
2) Complete the Learning Station that you worked on today (see learning stations in the Unit Archives drop-down tab for Unit 4 above).
3) Complete the Tale of Two Cities Project. The last "ask" for the Tale of Two Cities Project (see below) will be on Monday, March 27th for "A" classes and Tuesday, March 28th for "B" classes (see the previous post for examples and replacement sheets).
