MONDAY, MARCH 21, AND TUESDAY, MARCH 22, 2022 - A/B BLOCK
Lotus Notes 4.8 - The Two Koreas, Lightning Stations and HW 4.7 - Vennorea - Click on "Read More"
Today, in class, we:
Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Copied our home work into our agendas (see below).
Stamped the home work entry in the agenda.
Collected HW 4.7 and any late home work using the static robot technique.
Watched and discussed CNN 10..
Updated our Table of Contents in the interactive notebook (see below).
Added the terms, "dictatorship" and "republic" to the vocabulary primer on pages 24 and 25.
Created our format for Lotus Notes 4.8 - The Two Koreas on pages 32 and 32 of the interactive notebook (see below).
Participated in Lightning Stations to examine primary and secondary source material about the nature of the two Koreas (See source material in the research well under the "More" tab above).
Created HW 4.7 - Vennorea (see example below). Students were able to begin work on this in class.
While students were working, each student was interviewed to turn in their Map of East Asia project.
Homework:
1) Complete the vocabulary primer for the terms, "dictatorship" and "republic" on pages 24 and 25.
2) Complete HW 4.7 - Vennorea (see example below).
3) If you have not finished your East Asia Map Project, please do so. I will ask you for it in three more class meetings. According to Tanglewood policy, you can only receive mastery credit for it, but that is far better than a "0" on any assignment (see Friday, March 11 to find the instructions and the source maps. Blank maps are available in my classroom if you don't have a printer at home).
