WednesDAY, MARCH 23, AND ThurSDAY, MARCH 24, 2022 - A/B BLOCK
Lotus Notes 4.9 - Japan, Lightning Stations and Active Classroom - Click on "Read More"
Today, in class, we:
Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Copied our home work into our agendas (see below).
Stamped the home work entry in the agenda.
Collected HW 4.7 and any late home work using the static robot technique.
Watched and discussed CNN 10..
Updated our Table of Contents in the interactive notebook (see below).
Added the term, "Shintoism" to the vocabulary primer on page 25.
Created our format for Lotus Notes 4.9 - Japan on pages 34 and 35 of the interactive notebook (see below).
Participated in Lightning Stations to examine primary and secondary source material about the nature of Japan (See source material in the research well under the "More" tab above).
After the stations students took out their chrome books and worked on the Active Classroom module, "Atlas of World History (Level I): From Imperial to Feudal Japan" (see link below).

While students were working, students with missing maps were interviewed to turn in their Map of East Asia project. This was the 2nd of four "asks".
Homework:
1) Complete the vocabulary primer for the term, "Shintoism" on page 25.
2) Complete the Active Classroom module, "Atlas of World History (Level I): From Imperial to Feudal Japan" (see link above).
3) If you have not finished your East Asia Map Project, please do so. I will ask you for it in two more class meetings. According to Tanglewood policy, you can only receive mastery credit for it, but that is far better than a "0" on any assignment (see Friday, March 11 to find the instructions and the source maps. Blank maps are available in my classroom if you don't have a printer at home).
