Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Wrote our home work down in our agendas for the DO NOW.
The home work robot collected HW 6.4 and any late home work.
Updated our Table of Contents (see below).
Updated the Vocabulary primer on page 73 to include the term, checks and balances.
Formatted Lotus Notes 5.3 - Roman Science and Technology (see below).
Participated in Lightning Stations.
Copied Notes 5.3 - Roman Government from the screen and this website onto page 81.
Shared the new Active Classroom Module, "Government Activators (Level I): Checks and Balances" (see link below).

While students were working, the four parts of the Unit 4 Summative Project were collected by individual interview. This was the 4th and last "ask". By Tanglewood MS policy, late work can only receive a mastery grade. This means an IB 3 or lower.
Also collected the Europe Mapping Project at the same time. This was the first "ask".
Homework:
1) Complete Vocabulary primer on page 73 to for the term, checks and balances.
2) Continue working on the Active Classroom Module, "Government Activators (Level I): Checks and Balances" (see link above).
