Today, in class, we:
Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Copied our home work into our agendas (see below).
Stamped the home work entry in the agenda.
Collected home work using the roaming robot technique.
Updated our Table of Contents in the interactive notebook (see below).
Added the term, "aqueduct" to the vocabulary primer on page 40.
Took during lightning stations, Notes 5.3 - Roman Science and Technology, on pages 48 and 49 of the interactive notebook (see below).
Assigned the 5th module for the Active Classroom portfolio, "Interviews with Ancient History: Cicero" (see link below).

While students were working independently, a 3rd round of interviews were conducted with students who were missing parts of the Unit 4 Summative project (see Friday, April 8th post).
Also picked up the Europe Mapping Project during the Lightning Stations.
Homework:
1) Complete your entry for the term, "aqueduct" to the vocabulary primer on page 40.
2) Complete the 5th module for the Active Classroom portfolio, "Interviews with Ancient History: Cicero" (see link above).
REMINDER! - Tomorrow, Friday, its the end of the 5th Six Weeks. Both the Active Classroom and Paper Home Works will close Friday.
