Today, in class, we:
Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Copied our home work into our agendas (see below).
Stamped the home work entry in the agenda.
Collected home work using the roaming robot technique.
Watched and discussed CNN 10.
Updated our Table of Contents in the interactive notebook (see below).
Added the term, "citizenship" to the vocabulary primer on page 40.
Took and discussed, Notes 5.2 - The Origins of Greek Democracy, in Cornell fashion, on pages 46 and 47 of the interactive notebook (see below).
Assigned the 4th module for the Active Classroom portfolio, "Power Basics: Ancient Greeks: Golden Age: The Gifts of Greece" (see link below).

Also continued to work on the Europe Mapping Project (see previous post).
While students were working independently, a 2nd round of interviews were conducted with students who were missing parts of the Unit 4 Summative project (see Friday, April 8th post).
Homework:
1) Complete your entry for the term, "citizenship" to the vocabulary primer on page 40.
2) Continue work on the Europe Mapping Project (see below). It is due on Monday, April 18th for "A" classes and Tuesday, April 19 for "B" classes.
3) Complete the 4th module for the Active Classroom portfolio, "Power Basics: Ancient Greeks: Golden Age: The Gifts of Greece" (see link above).
