Today, in class, we:
Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Copied our home work into our agendas (see below).
Stamped the home work entry in the agenda.
Collected home work using the roaming robot technique.
Discussed the history of the Olympics and cultural diffusion.
Participated in lightning stations where students competed in the Olympic sports.
Worked with a shoulder partner to speculate on the future of the Olympics.
While students were working independently, a 3rd round of interviews were conducted with students who were missing parts of the Unit 4 Summative project (see Friday, April 8th post).
Also picked up the Europe Mapping Project during the Lightning Stations.
Homework:
1) Complete any incomplete Active Classroom or paper home works.
