Notes 5.9 – Feudalism in Europe
Factual Question – What is a guild?
Conceptual Question – How does feudalism relate to the fall of the Roman Empire?
Debatable Question – Did the Christian Church of this period slow down the development of European scientific inquiry?
This lesson draws upon existing classroom resources and is intended to give you the student the courtyard wall walk that we normally do at school a digital face (see picture below). It is intended to begin giving you context for the Scientific Revolution that we will discuss next week. All of this will help with your summative project for the unit later this month.
First Update the Table of Contents on page 6 of your interactive notebook and the vocabulary primer index on page 4 (see TOC).
Second - Add and complete the entry for the following terms on page 20 in the Vocabulary Primer – guild, feudalism (see TOC)
Third – Print and Glue In or Write –the Notes on pp. 68-69 (see below).
Fourth – Complete the five reading sections at Active Classroom. You can add to your notes on page 69 if you wish. When done click submit in Active Classroom only. Remember that I am NOT checking the HUB, only Active Classroom for indication that you have completed the module.The link is
