Today, in class, we:

Entered the classroom using the "Threshold" protocol, with each student having to provide a "Stand and Deliver" entry ticket. 
Answered the warm up question on the board.
Copied our home work from the home work board (see below).
Random students were chosen by the Kagan Spinner to answer the warm up question.
Updated the Table of Contents for the interactive notebook (see below).
Added the terms, desertification and deforestation to the vocabulary primer on page 13.
Drew and discussed Notes 2.1 - Physical Geography of Sub-Saharan Africa (see below).
Passed out and began work on the Sub-Saharan Mapping Project (see below).
Collected, by individual interview, late Journey Home Project maps (see previous post).

Home Work: 1) Complete the vocabulary primer the terms, desertification and deforestation on page 13.
2) Continue work on 
the Sub-Saharan Mapping Project (see below). This is due on Tuesday, Oct. 15th for "A" classes and Wednesday, Oct. 16th for "B" classes.
