Today, in class, we:
Entered the classroom using the "Threshold" protocol, with each student having to provide a "Stand and Deliver" entry ticket.
Answered the warm up question on the board.
Copied our home work from the home work board (see below).
Random students were chosen by the Kagan Spinner to answer the warm up question.
Collected home work using the random robot technique.
Updated the Table of Contents for the interactive notebook (see below).
Had a fishbowl team to model the cooperative reading team technique.
Using the cooperative reading cups, read and began to create Notes 2.3 - History of Sub-Saharan Africa from the class set of textbooks (See picture above).
Home Work: 1) Complete work on the Sub-Saharan Mapping Project (see previous post). This is due on Tuesday, Oct. 15th for "B" classes and Wednesday, Oct. 16th for "A" classes.
