Entered the classroom using the "Threshold" protocol, with a co-greeter welcoming students in a language other than English.
Answered the warm up question on the board.
Copied our home work from the home work board (see below).
Used the Kagan Spinner to select students at random to answer the warm up question.Added the and the "popcorn" technique to stretch the discussion;
Discussed the field trip on Matchup's 11th and passed out explanatory letters dress code and parent permission slips (see below).
Conducted our TELPAS writing requirement.
After the writing assignment, students readied their vocabulary primers to study for the 16 question Unit 4 vocabulary test on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Interviewd each student while writing to ask again for late Project Parts or E. Asia maps. Also asked if student wants lunch on the trip.
Home Work: 1) Study your Unit 4 vocabulary words for the Unit 4 Vocabulary Test on Tuesday and Wednesday.
2) Get permission slip signed and returned (see below).
