Today, in class, we:
Answered a question from the DO NOW board using the Kagan Spinner.
Copied our home work from the home work board (see below).
Collected HW2 - Map Self- Reflection for the portfolio, using the Grumpy Home Work Machine Process.
Returned and discussed the SW Asia/ N Africa Location Test and acknowledged the growing number of students earning perfect 8/8's on their tests.
Handed out HW 3 - Test Why to be completed with the returned test.
Updated our Table of Contents (see below).
Created a vocabulary investigation for the terms "Abrahamic Religions" and "branches (of a religion)" (see below).
Went into the main hallway to see the Inferences written all the teams in each class. Created Notes 3.4 - Inferences from the Archaeological Dig (see picture - individual notes will vary).
Returned to class to create Notes 3.5 - The Abrahamic Religions (see below).
Introduced the first part of the in-class research project into The Abrahamic Religions. Learned how we would be using the materials and the order of the research days through the end of next week - Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Glued in the Source material for Judaism on page 103 and received research guide for Judaism (available in class only).
