Entered the classroom using the "Threshold" protocol, with a co-greeter welcoming students in a language other than English.
Answered the warm up question on the board.
Copied our home work from the home work board (see below).
Used the Kagan Spinner to select students at random to answer the warm up question.
Debriefed the "Lost on the Moon" dilemma from last Friday.
Updated the Table of Contents for the interactive notebook (see below).
Added the terms, dynasty and Dynastic Cycle to the vocabulary primer on pages 12-13.
Created Timeline Notes 4.9 - Timeline of Chinese History using the NGS textbook as a resource (see elements and sources below).
Asked students, by individual conference, a 2nd time for missing parts to the Unit 4 Summative Research Project.
Home Work: 1) Complete the vocabulary primer for the terms dynasty and Dynastic Cycle to the vocabulary primer on pages 12-13.
2) Complete Timeline Notes 4.9 - Timeline of Chinese History (see resources below).
3) Work on your E. Asia Map after you are finished with you summative project, it is due Thurs, 2/20 for "A" classes and Fri. 2/21 for "B" classes (see previous post).
