Entered the classroom using the "Threshold" protocol, with a co-greeter welcoming students in a language other than English.
Answered the warm up question on the board.
Copied our home work from the home work board (see below).
Used the Kagan Spinner to select students at random to answer the warm up question.Added the and the "popcorn" technique to stretch the discussion;
Updated the Table of Contents for the interactive notebook (see below).
Added the term, Shintoism to the vocabulary primer on page 14.
Asked again by individual conference for missing Unit 4 Summative Project parts and E. Asia Map Project.
Created Lotus Notes 4.10 - Japan, using Lightning Stations (see lotus below).

Set up HW2 - "The Lunch" to reflect upon what practices from the Japanese school lunch could be culturally borrowed to improve our own lunch at Tanglewood. A piece of notebook paper would be fine for the assignment.
