Answered a question from the DO NOW board.
Copied our home work from the HOME WORK board (see below).
Used the Kagan spinner to randomly ask students to report out their answer to the DO NOW question,
Collected any late home work.
Looked at an example of the project writing and paid attention to how quotes were embedded in the text. Discussed plagiarism and the ways to avoid it in research writing (see sample below).
Updated our agendas to correct MLA style forma (see below).
Passed out a blank Works Cited page for use , if needed (see below).
Spent remainder of period doing research for our topic. Devices were allowed and iPads and CPUs were available for all students as an option.
Collected, by individual interview, the Research Log for the project.
