Entered the classroom using the "Threshold" protocol, with each student having to provide a "Stand and Deliver" entry ticket.
Answered the warm up question on the board.
Copied our home work from the home work board (see below).
Random students were chosen by the Kagan Spinner to answer the warm up question.
Collected, via the random robot technique any late home work.
Discussed and distributed the Summative project for Unit 1 (see below).
Updated the Table of Contents for the interactive notebook (see below).
Added the terms, political map, physical map and special purpose map to the vocabulary primer on page 11.
Took and discussed Notes 1.6 - Types of Maps (see below).
Participated in Lightning Stations to look at evidence of TODALS and physical, political and special purpose elements in 8 maps (see photo).
Home Work: 1) Complete any vocabulary primer the terms, political map, physical map and special purpose map on page 11.
2) Begin work on your research plan on your research log. The Research Log is due on Thursday, 9/18 for "A" classes and Friday, 9/19 for "B" classes.
