The HISD HUB is still Merging my classes, so we will use my website for now
Goals for Week:
• Set up Interactive Notebook
• Practice geography skills to prepare for next week.
• Show the connectivity that the Chrome Books allow.
Task #1 Setting Up The Interactive Notebook:
You can use a spiral or a composition notebook. I prefer composition notebooks, of course. There is a long story about this. It involves a car crash and an onslaught of vicious spirals in my youth.
Step 1 - Number each side of each page to the last page of your interactive notebook
(See example below).
Step 2 - Create a Title Page on page 1 (See example below).
Step 3 - Create Your Table of Contents Entries on Page 2 (See example below).
Be ready on Monday and Tuesday next week with your formatted notebook. We will be moving fast, taking notes in your interactive notebook, don't be left behind!
Assignment #1 - Geography Games and Follow-up Survey
You will be playing two challenging geography games linked below. Keep track of your times.
Play them as many times as you want.
When you feel that you have your best times, take the survey on the link below.
I will be using this as your first grade in my class. So make sure to take the survey. Your grade is not based upon your time, but rather, that you followed my instructions.
Step 1: Play both "Easy" and "Hard" games. Write down your times. You may play them as often as you like to get a faster time. Remember to keep record of you times.
Game 1: World Features
