In-Class Written Data Analysis of Selected Sub-Saharan African Countries and Intervention Day - Click on "Read More"
Today, in class, we:
Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Copied our home work into our agendas (see below).
Stamped the home work entry in the agenda.
Used the homework robot to collect any late HW 's.
Returned the Data Collection Sheets from the Lightning Stations on Monday and Tuesday.
Created two Data Analysis written response page, using sentence stems.
Worked on our written responses which were collected as an exit ticket.
Shared the master list of of the Active Classroom Portfolio confirming if a student has turned in all four modules and which one's had yet to be turned in (see below).
Shared the master list of of the Home Work Portfolio confirming if a student has turned in all three home works and which one's had yet to be turned in (see below).
Offered Make Up Tests for those who missed the test. Retakes for the test will be offered only after a correctly completed HW 4 Test Whys has been turned in, showing evidence of reflection on performance. By Tanglewood policy this is only available for student making a 0, 1 or 2 on the test and can only be awarded a mastery grade of 3 at best (see below).
THE END OF GRADING CYCLE 2 IS ONE WEEK AWAY, ON NOVEMBER 12.
Learning Station Best-Work Portfolio will be checked by individual conference on Wednesday, Nov. 10th and Thursday, Nov. 11th.

1) Complete any missing HW's and turn in to the Home Work Robot next class.
2) Complete any missing Active Classroom modules and submit them.
3) Complete the learning station that you worked on in last class to prepare for the learning station portfolio at the end of the six weeks. See the Unit Archive drop down menu above to find the station.
