Today, in class, we:
Answered a question from the DO NOW board using the Kagan Spinner.
Copied our home work from the home work board (see below).
Reseated the class for the new unit and identified team roles. Every student has to have a cooperative job and be a team member. Students who have served as facilitators (leaders) for the team may not serve again. This distributive leadership model allows all students to experience the difficulties and rewards of leadership. This will serve them well in the future.
Collected Home Work for the portfolio, using the Grumpy Home Work Machine Process.
Updated our Table of Contents (see below).
Created a vocabulary investigation for the terms "river source" and "river mouth" (see below).
Charted Notes 3.2 - River Systems (see template and definitions below).
Walked upstairs to Innovation's main hallway (see picture) to look down upon the river in the courtyard below. Made a drawing based on what we saw below. An entire river system was on display for us to record (see page 85).
Returning to class, we labeled from our definitions, the features we drew in our drawing of the river system we observed from above
(see below).
Home Work: 1) Complete a vocabulary investigation for the terms "river source" and "river mouth" (see below).
2) Continue work on the SW Asia and N Africa Map Project due on Tuesday and Wednesday , Nov. 6 and Nov. 7 (see below)
