Copied our home work from the home work board (see below).
Reseated class into cooperative tables.
Collected HW 5 using the Home Work Machine technique and our new homework checker from each cooperative tables.
Handed out rubrics and the large 11 x 17 inch paper for the Journey Home Project Part 2 The Map (see below).
Reminded students of turn-in dates next week.
Discussed the turn in of the Summer Project along with the Journey Home Project next week.
Updated our Table of Contents (see below).
Created vocabulary investigations for the terms "Political vs Physical Features" and " Regions" (see below).

Home Work: 1) Complete the vocabulary investigation for the terms "Political vs Physical Features" and " Regions" (see below).
2) Continue work on Part 1 and Part 2 of the Journey Home Summative Project (see below). The first part of the project is the Research Log, which includes tour research question, research plan and sources that helped your research. This is due first, before the rest of the project on Monday, Sept. 17th. The second part is the map itself on the 11 x 17 inch paper sent home today. It is due on Tues. Sept. 18th for "A" classes and Wed. Sept. 19th for "B" classes.
