Today, in class, we:
Copied our home work from the home work board (see below).
Passed out and completed our paper Facebook page, which became an exit ticket.
Discussed procedures and the nature of being an IB school.
Discussed on created our first vocabulary investigation for the term "place" (see below).
Participated in our first class builder, "The Meuse" a low ropes challenge with the IB Learner Profile (see pictures). It is fascinating to watch leadership and improvisation emerge on the 2nd day of school.
Home Work: 1) Complete the vocabulary investigation of the term "place" (see below).
2) Bring the blue signature page from the back of the course syllabus back after securing your parent's signature (see below).This is HW1 and the first grade in your Home Work portfolio.
3) Bring your composition notebook and ink pen to Thursday and Friday classes for the ceremony.
Reminder on the list of supplies:
- 1 composition notebook for Fall (No spirals, they are dangerous).
- 1 composition notebook for Spring.
- 1 set of 12 count colored pencils, any brand.
- 1 glue stick or bottle
- 1 regular #2 pencil, any brand
- 1 black ink pen. either ball point or gel ink.
- 1 simple paper folder,, any color to keep loose papers in (this could also be a section of a binder if you want).
