Today, in class, we:
Answered a question from the DO NOW board using the Kagan Spinner.
Copied our home work from the home work board (see below).
Collected HW 5 and any late Home Works .
Handed out reward tickets for students who had all five home works turned in.
As cooperative table teams, we selected a country from Sub-Saharan Africa grab bag. We created a team research plan to explore the five fingers of social science for the country.
We used our devices and the iPads to conduct our research (see picture). This project will be completed during school.
Home Work: 1) Prepare your learning stations section of your interactive notebook (pages 44 - 51) for the Learning Station portfolio check. You will identify your two best stations for me to check (see Unit Archive drop down menus for Unit 2 above). The portfolio check will occur by individual conference next class (10/18 and 10/19).
