Today, in class, we:
Greeted students at the door using the threshold technique.
Wrote our learning objective and homework down in our agendas for the DO NOW.
Checked for understanding from our previous class with a warm up on a response card.
Collected any late HW's using the home work robot.
Activated the glue army to glue army to glue the Golden Age of Islam Lotus Notes to page 96 and the Lotus Research Inquiry into the Arab Spring to page 100 (see previous posts).
Updated our Table of Contents on pages 7 and 8 (see below).
Updated our vocabulary primer on page 86 and added the term, Zionism.
Crafted a generalization for the cause of the Arab Spring uprisings at the bottom of the Lotus Inquiry glued to page 100.
Took Crash Course Notes on the History of the Israel/Palestine Conflict from Khan Academy (see template below).
Passed out and worked on the the Israel /Palestine Mapping Project (see below).
Homework:
1) Complete the vocabulary primer entry for the term, Zionism.
2) Continue work on your Israel /Palestine Mapping Project which is due Tuesday, 2/20 for "A" classes and Wednesday, 2/21 for "B" classes (see below).
3) Make sure that all of the terms in the Unit 4 vocabulary primer (pages 83-86) are defined by Friday, February 16.
