Cornell Notes 5.8.1 - History of China (Part 1) and Active Classroom - Click on "Read More"
Today, in class, we:
Greeted students at the door using the threshold technique.
Wrote our learning objective and homework down in our agendas for the DO NOW.
Checked for understanding from our previous class with a warm up on a response card.
Collected any late HW's using the home work robot.
Updated the interactive notebook Table of Contents (see below).
Updated the vocabulary primer on pages 106 and 107 with the terms, dynasty and Dynastic Cycle.
Took, in Cornell fashion, and discussed Notes 5.8.1 - History of China (see below).
Informed students that there was a new Active Classroom module assigned, "Atlas of World History (Level I): Civilization in Ancient China" (see link below).

Worked on either Active Classroom or continued to research individually on the Unit 5 Summative Research Project (see last post).
Met individually with each students to collect the East Asia Mapping Project (2nd ask).
Homework:
1) Complete the vocabulary primer entries on pages 106 and 107 for the terms, dynasty and Dynastic Cycle.
2) Complete the Active Classroom module, "Atlas of World History (Level I): Civilization in Ancient China" (see link above).
3) Continue work on the Unit 5 Summative Project (see last post). Due on Monday April 15 for all classes.
