Greeted students at the door using the threshold technique.
Wrote our learning objective and homework down in our agendas for the DO NOW.
Checked for understanding from our previous class with a warm up on a response card.
Collected any late HW's using the home work robot.
Updated our Table of Contents on page 9 (see below).
Updated our vocabulary primer on page 103 and added the terms, culture hearth and
caste system.
Shoulder partners, read, discussed and wrote in Lotus format, Notes 5.3 - Early Civilizations of S Asia and created the timeline on page 121 based on the reading (see both below).
Collected, by individual conference, the 3rd ask of the Israel and Palestine Mapping Project and the 1st ask of the SxSE Asia Mapping Project.

Homework:
1) Complete the vocabulary primer entry for the terms, culture hearth and caste system.
2) Complete the timeline on page 121 of the interactive notebook (see starting example below).
3) If you did not complete the project, continue work on the SxSE Asia Mapping Project (see below). This was due on Tues. 2/27 for B4 and B6 classes, Wed. 2/28 of all "A" classes and Thurs. 2/29 for B/2 class.
