Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Wrote our home work down in our agendas for the DO NOW.
The home work robot collected HW 6.2 and any late home work.
Updated our Table of Contents (see below).
Experienced push migration as new cooperative tables were formed and table team roles were selected.
Updated the Vocabulary primer on page 73 to include the term, navigable.
Drew and discussed Notes 5.1 - The Physical Geography of Europe (see below).
Worked on the Europe Map Project independently in class (see below).
While students were working, the four parts of the Unit 4 Summative Project were collected by individual interview. This was the first and only on time "ask". Students missing parts of their project can turn them in during the next three late "asks" during the next three class meetings. By Tanglewood MS policy, late work can only receive a mastery grade. This means an IB 3 or lower.
Homework:
1) Complete Vocabulary primer on page 73 to include the term, navigable.
2) Continue working the Europe Map Project (see below) This is due May 10th for "A" classes and May 11th for "B" classes (see below).
