Greeted students at the door with the gong challenge, using the threshold technique.
Wrote our home work down in our agendas for the DO NOW.
The home work robot returned to collect any late home work.
Updated our Table of Contents.
Updated our vocabulary primer on page 42 and added the term, apartheid.
Formatted page 54 for the inquiry activity.
Watched "The Story of Nelson Mandela by BBC News"
Took examples of student observations from the class to help fill in our inquiry figure on p. 54.
Looked at a reading source as a prompt to format our DBQ "ACE's writing activity.
Began work on the Active Classroom module, "Exploring World History: Postcolonial Africa" (see link below).
